Fontbonne Academy is hosting an Installation Mass and Ceremony for the new Head of School, Susan M. Degnan ’79, on Wednesday, October 8. The Ceremony will take place in the school’s auditorium at 8:30 a.m. The Board of Trustees, Administration, and Faculty of Fontbonne Academy would like to welcome members of the local community, Fontbonne Academy alumnae, and friends of Fontbonne to attend this special event.

Degnan, an alumna of Fontbonne, steps in for Mary Ellen Barnes who retired from the position over the summer. She comes to us from Malden’s Cheverus School, a school that serves preschool through eighth grade. Degnan is thrilled to be rejoining Fontbonne, this time as a leader. “I’m so excited to be back in my hometown, at my alma mater, and closer to my family,” Degnan said.
