This afternoon (Thursday) , several residents of the Columbine neighborhood received home sales visits from a company called ” Protection1.” These solicitors were selling home alarm systems. To be honest, we never favor home solicitation, yet we understand this is legally allowed.

While this company may have made this sales push based on recent news reports about house breaks, the MPD strongly advises that in the case of home security, use the recommendations of friends and colleagues who have time tested systems, as well as companies who are vested in many homes in this community….
