‘Top Chef’ Host Padma Lakshmi And Crew Flambéed By Boston Teamsters (in Milton) – Union head says it’s fiction

An article Deadline Hollywood does not paint a nice picture of the Teamsters. The article does not mention that cars along Eliot Street also had their tires slashed that same day. No suspects have been apprehended. The article begins: 

The Teamsters picketers were already mad. By the time Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi’s car pulled up to the Steel & Rye restaurant in the picturesque New England town of Milton just outside Boston, one of them ran up to her car and screamed, “We’re gonna bash that pretty face in . . . Meanwhile the Boston Herald reports that the union refutes the claims writing:

Local 25 president Sean O’Brien — speaking for the first time on the “Top Chef” charges — called the allegations “fiction at best” last night, but Coakley and Healey issued statements yesterday condemning the union’s tactics and vowing to get to the bottom of the mess.
