FYI as of 7:50am this morning (Saturday) Boston Police have completely closed off River Street from Central Ave to Adams/Dorchester Ave. Fox News reports a pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car in Dorchester Saturday.

At about 5:15 a.m., an emergency caller reported that a pedestrian was hit by a car in the area of River and Washington Streets. The female victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
