Patrick’s vetoes impact South Shore communities

An article in  Wicked Local Quincy lists vetoes in the state budget by Governor Patrick that affect South Shore communities. Included in the list are:

  • $300,000 shall be expended to reimburse the town of Milton for funds expended pursuant to chapter 349 of the acts of 2010.

  • No less than $100,000 for the operation of the Blue Hills Observatory and Science Center.
  • No less than $500,000 shall be expended for the operation of the Blue Hills ski area.
  • No less than $500,000 for the Blue Hills trailside museum and the Chickatawbut Hill center.
