Yesterday Representative Dan Cullinane, who represents Precincts 1 and 2 in Milton, picked up another key endorsement in his bid for re-election to the Massachusetts House. Congressman Mike Capuano gave Cullinane the thumbs up at Brothers Restaurant and Deli in Mattapan Square.
Congressman Capuano represents the 7th Massachusetts district in Washington. This includes much of the west side of Milton. In making the endorsement Capuano cited Cullinane’s accessibility, persistence, and for delivering results in his first nine months in office. He said, “Dan Cullinane has earned our support. I respect him – not just as a politician – I respect him as a human being because he is in this for the right reasons. Dan has delivered for the people of the 12th Suffolk district. . . Dan brings people together . . .I am proud to endorse Dan’s re-election.”
Cullinane expressed his gratitude for the endorsement saying, “I am honored to have the support of Congressman Capuano, a true progressive leader who is a tireless advocate for Massachusetts families and a consistent voice for those in our community who are in need.”
Cullinane has also received endorsements from Mayor Marty Walsh and State Representative Russell Holmes.
