Congratulations to the 6 Milton residents who were selected this past week end to represent Massachusetts as members of the Massachusetts Youth Rugby Organizations (MYRO) High School All Star team in the New England Challenge Cup.

The Challenge Cup is the local USA Rugby Regional All-Star Game (RAST), a place for the national governing body to evaluate and select their High School All-American team and invite players to the annual Stars and Stripes game in Colorado.

For high school rugby players hoping to reach the heights of a USA Rugby national team, the Regional All-Star Tournaments (RASTs) and Stars v Stripes Camp offer the High Performance pathway to the High School All-Americans and on to Junior and Collegiate All-American teams, as well as the Men’s and Women’s Eagles. Varsity (Jr/Sr) player Tim O’Connor and Junior Varsity (Fr/Soph) player Patrick McDonough were named to the All-Tournament teams.
