The kindergarten students sing together in front of their families and teachers, as they get ready to move on to the first grade
This past Thursday (June 19, 2014) the kindergarten class at St. Mary of the Hills School held the annual graduation celebration in the school hall. Lead by long time teachers Mrs. Field and Mrs. Farrell, the kindergarteners performed songs they sang throughout the year, as well as recited lessons they learned first hand, such as “Clean up after yourself,” “Don’t take things that do not belong to you, “Be kind to everyone,” “Ask questions,” and most importantly “Love each other.” Each student was presented with a special award that represented their dedication to the classroom, students, friends, or learning. The students cannot wait to begin first grade in the fall, but first they will enjoy a well deserved summer vacation!
