Discussions provide information regarding resources at 33 One-stop Career Centers in Massachusetts.
Representative Walter F. Timilty (D – Milton), along with many of his colleagues in the House of Representatives, attended this annual event dedicated to informing legislators of the resources that career centers offer to both job seekers and employers. Across the Commonwealth, there are 33 One-stop Career Centers. Locally, South Shore residents and companies can utilize the Quincy Career Center and the Plymouth Center.
“Resources are available for job seekers,” said Timilty. “It is important that citizens of the Commonwealth are aware of the vast amount of resources at their disposal when it comes to re-entering the job market.”

– Coaching on job search skills
– Workshops on job search strategies
– Networking groups
– Unemployment insurance services
Services for employers include:
– Access to qualified applicants
– Applicant pre-screening

– Testing and assessment of candidates

– Information on training grants and tax credits
