My name is Sheryl Fleitman and I am running for Library Trustee.

I have used the library since I was in elementary school. In fact, I used to come home from Kidder Branch with new books every week.

While volunteering in the new library I was wandering around looking at all the collections.  I was in awe of the new facility and it struck me that I REALLY CARE ABOUT OUR LIBRARY.

I would like to have a hand in how it is run:

• Becoming involved in library policies
• Fund-raising
• Setting goals and objectives
• Being a library contact point for the town at large

Our library is a beautiful place and I would like to make even more people aware of it.

This is an exciting time when libraries have more opportunities for people than ever before with booming social and electronic media.  Technology is still moving very fast and I am interested to see what else can be implemented to make library resources accessible to as many as possible.

I have been a senior level executive assistant for many years.  I am a Precinct One Town Meeting Member and I am currently co-Chair of MCAAI (Milton Citizens Against Aviation Impact) and have been very successful in bring this important airplane issue to the forefront for Milton residents.
