Todd Hamilton of Harland Street has returned nomination papers for a seat on the Planning Board. He will be challenging Alex Whiteside, the incumbent and current chair of that board. The live in the same part of town.

Mr. Hamilton took out his nomination papers earlier today and returned them before this afternoon’s 5:00pm deadline.

It looks to be an interesting contest. A property Mr. Hamilton has an interest on Hillside Street in was recently denied an open space special permit by the Planning Board. Mr. Whiteside had recused himself from that decision as he is a neighbor of the property; but spoke in opposition to granting the permit.
