We are very pleased to announce that Milton has been identified as being in the top “100 Safest Cities in America.” This designation was made by Neighborhood Scout, a division of Location Inc. This organization is “passionate about uncovering true and comprehensive characteristics about every neighborhood in America, including safety.”
The services of Neighborhood Scout are utilized by financial and real estate institutions across America. This desigation gives Milton a “gold star” rating and serves as a very positive symbol for our Town. The 2013 “Safest Cities in America” award honors not only the accomplishment and effort of the Milton Police Department, but also a community that is bonded in prideful citizenship. The men and women of the MPD are honored by this desiganation but we want to recognize the hundreds of citizens who reach out in partnership to help maintain a positive and safe environment for all residents of Milton.
