Milton MCAS scores shine

Wicked Local Milton reports that  82% of Massachusetts schools did not meet federal requirements to boost student MCAS scores – but Milton did. State officials recognized 14 local schools for their MCAS performance. Three of them are in Milton: Tucker, Collicot, and Glover.

Tucker and Collicot were recognized for high growth in test scores and Glover was removed from acountability status. Superintendent Gormley is quoted as saying the results were “excellent” and that “There was marked improvement in average yearly progress and in the growth data.”
