Milton guarding against possible state aid loss

The warrant committee wants the four largest departments to hold back portions of their budgets in the event of a cut in state aid.

Warrant committee Chairman Thomas Hurley said the plan would allow the town to weather a 10 percent cut in state aid, which would cost the town nearly $1 million.
