A Milton man faces charges of assault after allegedly throwing a cup of coffee at a person.

Boston police officers were monitoring traffic near Union and North streets at about 4:25 p.m. Saturday when Robert Nagle, 35, walked into the crosswalk and his path was blocked by a car.
