NPR site Climatide is running a series this week titled The Falmouth Experience: The Trouble with One Town’s Turbine about that town’s experience with construction of a wind turbine.

Milton has a wind turbine initiative that is currently being challenged by several parties. Quarry Hills Associates is suing the town arguing that the turbine will adversely affect their business (Granite Links Golf Course) and has detrimental environmental impacts (e.g. noise, flicker). Rep. Mariano of Quincy has also filed legislation to prevent construction on similar grounds.
