We grabbed this photo from the Milton Police Dept’s Facebook page. The officers received these letters and notes of gratitude (over 100) from the students at the Glover school. As one notes, “It’s snow joke,” a small bit of humor that casts a little warmth amidst all the whinging and whining. We’d like to add our voice to theirs. Thanks MPD and DPW and MFD and Town Hall for doing your best through a very difficult time.

The Milton Rotary Club is pleased to announce that it will continue to sponsor a Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) program for Milton students in the coming 2015 – 2016 academic year. We are seeking eligible families to host a visiting student for a few months out of the year. This past fall, students from Milton High School were selected to spend their next school year abroad as part of the Rotary International, RYE program. In turn, a student from another country will come to Milton.
Due to public safety concerns, Ulin Rink will remain closed. A snow-slide off the roof could cause damage to the lobby and locker room, and potentially injure anyone inside. Crews have been working since last Thursday to remove snow, which is 3-4 feet deep on the center portion of the roof.
