The Milton Animal League will be holding a rabies vaccination clinic on Saturday, April 6th at the Atherton St. Fire Station, Route 138 in Milton. Cats will be vaccinated from 10 am to 11:30 am; cats must be in carriers. Dogs will be vaccinated from 11:30 am to 1:00 PM; dogs must be on leashes.

Temple Shalom concludes film series with “A Separation”
“A Separation,” the concluding film in this season’s Winter Movie Series of Temple Shalom of Milton, co-sponsored this year by the First Congregational Church and First Parish Church, will be screened on Saturday evening, March 16th at 7:45 p.m., with doors opening at 7:00.
New Date for Chocolate Auction at First Parish in Milton
Due to Winter Storm Nemo, the annual Chocolate Auction at First Parish in Milton was unable to happen as planned on February 10th. But that does not mean you have missed your chance to enjoy unique treats and high energy bidding. The auction has been rescheduled for Sunday, March 17th.

Art in Bloom Road Show
The Art in Bloom Road Show will be presented on Sunday, March 10 from 2 PM to 3 PM in the Keys Community Room (lower level) of the Milton Public Library, 476 Canton Avenue in Milton. This fascinating event will capture the behind-the-scenes preparation for the Museum of Fine Art’s annual “Art in Bloom,” a four-day period in the spring when fifty of the museum’s art objects are interpreted through floral arrangements.

Preservation in Milton topic for 2nd Stone Soup on Feb. 28
The Wakefield Estate’s second “Winter Stone Soup” gathering will feature remarks by Alex Whiteside, chair of the Milton Planning Board and head of an effort to restore the Broderick Stables located at the State Police Headquarters on Hillside Street. Alex is spearheading a group of interested volunteers to explore means of restoring this 100 year-old historic building.
