Milton Historical Society Open House

A great way to celebrate Patriot’s Day – Tour the house where Dr. Joseph Warren and Paul Revere made history!  Come to the Milton Historical Society Annual Open House from 1 to 3 PM on Sunday, April 14, 2013, at the Suffolk Resolves House located at 1370 Canton Avenue, Milton.

Red Cross Blood Drive at Fuller Village

Give blood in April. Get on your feet. Whether training for the big marathon in Boston this month or planning on walking around the block once a week, we can all benefit from being more active. This April, all presenting donors will receive a free pair of socks from New Balance to help you along the way.

Genetically Modified Organisms Film and Discussion

East Church presents a screening of the film “Genetic Roulette: the Gamble of Our Lives” featuring consumer advocate Jeffrey Smith of the Institute for Responsible Technology. A discussion with Jack Kittredge, Policy Director at Northeast Organic Farming Association, will follow the film.

Friday Teen Movie

On April 12 at 3 p.m., the Teen Services Department of the Milton Library will show a movie for students in grades 6-12. Teens will have a choice of four movies; they can see the options and vote for their top choices on our Teen Space Facebook page!

Cool Hand Luke to be screened at MPL

On Thursday, April 11, 2013, the Milton Public Library offers up a screening of the 1967 Paul Newman film “Cool Hand Luke,” as the last one in our spring series “Movie Masculinity.”

Milton Speaks Candidates Night
