The family of Massachusetts Army National Guard Sergeant David Thompson of Milton was honored today with a “Massachusetts Cares!” grant. The presentation was made by the Military Friends Foundation, a Massachusetts non-profit organization dedicated to serving National Guard and Reserve Families since 2003. They were joined by Senator Brian Joyce and Representative Walter Timilty.
Milton soccer players shine in Southeast Region win in Bay State Games
For the second straight year the Southeast Region won the gold medal in The Bay State Games soccer tournament held this past weekend at Waltham High School.
Milton was well represented. Ryan Madden and Nick Savage both from Milton High School were key in the team’s success.
