n Friday, Oct. 22, at 7:28 p.m., Reading police charged Joseph C. Hickson, 27, 34 Temple Street, West Roxbury and Jennifer M. Maxwell, 25, 8 Scott Circle, Dedham, with armed robbery, following an incident at TD Bank North on Main Street, in which they passed a note to a bank teller, demanding money. The two were able to get $475 before fleeing the scene. (Read the full story here.)
Last Friday night was a magic moment at Turner’s Pond.
If you were there about 7:20 or so you might have seen it. Looking south across this gem of a pond a series of lights bobbed and bounced the entire length of the far shore, glittering and sparkling off the surface of the pond.

The Girl Scout Troop 74119 will be hosting a Halloween Costume Dance for 4th and 5h grades on October 29, 2010 to raise funds for a Girl Scout Journey to Europe.
The funds are for a Girl Scout Educational Journey through London, Paris and Lucerne, Switzerland.
