Central Ave reconstruction begins . . .today

According to a letter distributed to residents of Central Avenue, dated June 20th, the “reconstruction project will be commencing Monday, June 23, 2014.” It will include installation of granite curbing, reconstruction of sidewalks, bicycle and pedestrian safety improvement, and resurfacing.

Chief Wells speaks to fireworks issue

Chief Wells appeared before the Board of Selectmen to discuss several issues, one of which was the recent rash complaints regarding fireworks., among them a Letter to the Editor that appeared on this site. He addressed the issue, amplifying on a communication we received.

How to Draw Superheroes with Paul Merklein

Attention Teens! Do you like to draw? Do you like Super Heroes? On Monday, July 14 from 6 to 8pm, the teen department at the Milton Library welcomes super artist Paul Merklein to show students “How to Draw Superheroes.” Merklein draws famous super heroes, and even students right from the audience.
