Frankly Speaking: Stoodt Sings Sinatra to benefit Milton Food Pantry

Local music maven, Jeff Stoodt, will be bringing Sinatra’s ageless music to Milton this week. In a benefit for the Milton Food Pantry Stoodt will be singing Sinatra accompanied by the Joel Hiller Trio.

The opening act will feature Pat Neves. Admission: $15

Veterans’ agent Cunningham soliders on to regional post

After 6-1/2 years as the director of veterans’ services in Hingham and 4-1/2 years in Hull, Michael Cunningham has left his position for a similar job in a larger region. He is now assisting veterans of the US armed forces who live in the Randolph/Milton area. (Read the full story here.)

The energy was boundless at anti-bullying rallies that rolled across the Milton public schools yesterday (11/10) as crowds of students chanted, cheered and sang as part of the program titled One Goal, One Community: Moving Beyond Bullying and Empowering for Life.
