Chanukah Celebration at Temple Shalom
Temple Shalom of Milton will celebrate the Jewish holiday of Chanukah with a Community-wide Family Celebration and Fundraiser on Sunday, December 9, from 10:30 AM – 12:15 PM at Pierce Middle School, 451 Central Avenue, Milton. This family Chanukah event will be under the direction of Education Director Nancy Mollitor and Rabbi Alfred Benjamin.
Handcrafting Justice Sale at First Parish
On Saturday, December 1st, First Parish in Milton will host its annual Handcrafting Justice sale, as well as a Christmas tree sale and a free community brunch. The sale will be in the Parish Hall from 9am to 1pm.
Milton Public Library to Host Holiday Jazz Concert
The Milton Public Library will host jazz vocalist Peter Smith and his band on Saturday, December 1st at 2 PM for a holiday concert. The Peter Smith Trio, featuring Yas Ishibashi on keyboards and Ralph Pepe on acoustic bass, present a wonderful program of songs from the Great American Songbook. Front-man Smith is equally adept at the swinging standards as he is delivering a soft ballad.
