Are you looking for information about part-day and full-day preschool or child care programs in Milton? Then, our Information Night will help! The Milton Early Childhood Alliance invites parents of young children to our 11th annual Early Education and Care Program Information Night.
It had to be held indoors at the Cunningham/Collicot schools due to weather that would not cooperate; but it did not dampen anyone’s spirits. There were the same great performances, a well stocked food “tent” from FAME, and a rash of tables manned by organizations, businesses, and youth groups that reflected the rich diversity and abundance of opportunities and interests. A broad-based group of Milton residents, including Republicans, Democrats and Independents, have come together as Citizens for Milton Community Preservation to support a YES on 4 vote on Question 4 this November 6th. John Cronin, retired town administrator, and Katie Conlon, former warrant committee chair, are co-chairing the effort.

In celebration of Massachusetts Archaeology Month, the Milton historical Society is opening the trap door in the parlor of the Suffolk Resolves House on Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Rarely open to the public and unknown to most visitors, a stairway under the trap door leads to a granite room of uncertain purpose and origin.
Milton High School is proud to present the Broadway musical comedy Hairspray based on the New Line Cinema film written and directed by John Waters!
A cast of 60 Milton High students will dance and sing through the 1960s- era comedy. HAIRSPRAY is a family-friendly musical full of laughter, romance, and great tunes. Set in Baltimore in 1962, teen Tracy Turnblad has one passion – to dance on the popular Corny Collins Show.

At the heart of Milton resident Kathryn Burak’s “Emily’s Dress and Other Missing Things” (Roaring Brook) is Claire, a high school senior who has lost her mother and her best friend. The 14th annual Milton Monster Dash takes place Sunday, October 28, 2012. This year’s race T-shirt will feature a new design chosen from drawings submitted by children. Children who live in or attend school in Milton are eligible to participate in the contest. Entries should feature a Halloween theme, since the race encourages runners and attendees to arrive in costume. The contest runs through Wednesday, October 10.
