A troop of Union infantryman marched among rows of cars while Mary Todd Lincoln, dressed in her finest bonnet and fur, mingled with families eating hot dogs and potato chips. ATTENTION RESIDENTS IN THE CRAIG STREET AREA: An attempt has just been made to enter a residence on Craig Street. When the perpetrator realized that the resident was home they fled on foot. The person was described as a Tall White Male wearing a navy blue sweatshirt with a logo on the back wearing jeans and Timberlane boots. If anyone sees anyone matching this description or sees anything suspicious in this general area, please cal 911 immediately.

Robots invade Cunningham Collicot

Milton students win Globe Scholastic Art and Writing Awards

Several students from Milton schools won honors in the 2013 Boston Globe Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.

This year’s competition marks the 90th anniversary for the national program and the 63d for the local contest. Locally, 7,768 students, in grades 7 through 12, submitted 13,776 images of student art and 1,559 pieces of student writing, both individually and within portfolios. (Read the full story here.)
