Re-Elect Maryellen Sweeney Dumais for Town Meeting Member, Precinct 10

I would like to announce my candidacy for re-election as a Town Meeting Member for Precinct 10.

I am a lifelong resident of Milton and a graduate of Milton High School.  I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rhode Island.  I am currently employed as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the East Milton dental practice of my brother, Dr. Daniel P. Sweeney.  Previously, I was employed for several years as a lifeguard at the Cunningham Park Pool.

I live at 42 Sheridan Drive with my husband Richard and two children Bradley, a student at Milton High School and Danielle, a student at the Pierce Middle School.  I am also the daughter of the late Daniel P. Sweeney founder and first president of the Milton Youth Hockey Program. Through my children I have been involved in Milton hockey, soccer, baseball, softball, and Boy Scout programs.

I have vital concerns about the present and future of Milton.  As your Town Meeting Member, I will continue to use my energy and experience to take stands on issues I feel are in the best interest of all the Townspeople. Thank you for allowing me to represent you for the past three years.  I respectfully ask for your vote on Election Day, Tuesday, April 27, 2010.
