My name is Eric Edman and I am a Town Meeting candidate for precinct 11. I am a twenty year resident living at 5 Pagoda Street with my wife Patricia and 18 year old son Eric Jason. Our son is autistic and we adopted him when he was a year old to give him a better quality of life.
I am Mechanical Designer and graduate of Wentworth Institute with an Associate Degree in Mechanical Design. I have designed Radar System components for the Air Force while working for Raytheon. I have also designed components for Deep Water Sonar Systems for the US and Indian Navies while working for Sea Beam Instruments. My interest in cars led to a brief stint as an Auto Salesperson and Lot Manager at a Wellesley car dealership.
As a Town Meeting Member my interest for the town of Milton is to maintain the quality of life that drew my wife and me here twenty years ago. I want safe residential neighborhoods, green space, quality schools without overcrowded classrooms. Commercial/residential neighborhoods should be developed to their full potential to generate revenue without inconvenience to the residents. I will work to see that Town Services are provided to residents in an efficient and cost effective manner.
I will do my part as a Town Meeting Member to keep the great Town of Milton one of the best places in the country to live in.
