Local bits of note

Two items, an accident and political switch, are not specific to Milton but are noteworthy:

There was a bad accident on I93 in Randolph by Route 24 yesterday. Milton Police and Fire assisted Randolph Police and Massachusetts State Police at the scene.  There is an ongoing investigation and the state police are seeking witnesses. See story from Wicked Raynham here.

Congressman Lynch switched his position on health care reform. You may take this as good news or bad news. As The Boston Globe reports: “Rebuffing personal pleas from President Obama and Vicki Kennedy, Representative Stephen F. Lynch said yesterday that he will vote against the Democrats’ health care overhaul, contending that it doesn’t put enough pressure on insurance companies to reduce costs.” (Read the full story here.)
