Special Town Meeting will go into its fifth night this evening to take up an article to fund the wind turbine and approve a blasitng ordinance. The wind turbine may meet resistance for the owners of the Granite Links Golf Course. The partners have stated that it will “destroy the Blue Hills” and their golf course. Regarding the blasting ordinance. Milton does not have one. The feeling of town officials was that one was required. Time was seen as something of an issue assuming that some form of development will eventually take place on the Temple Shalom property and blasting will be used there.
