Two teams from Fontbonne Academy competed against other local high schools on May 3 in the Babson College Boston Cup at Babson College. The regional competition follows a year-long entrepreneurial program taught at Fontbonne after school by a Babson faculty member.

The Fontbonne team of Krista LaForest and Ashley Leung of Quincy, and Kathryn Meschino of Hull won first place overall for their proposed app for campus safety called Blue Campus. The prize includes $1,000 seed money for the project, a team of advisors from Babson College to help launch the project, and the Babson Cup itself.
