Arlington On-ramp to I-90 (MassPike) West: Nighttime Ramp Closure

The Arlington on-ramp to I-90 (MassPike) West will be closed at night Wednesday, October 7, 2008 through Thursday, October 8, 2008 from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the next morning.

Traffic should use the Copley on-ramp. This closure is to allow for inspection and repair work.

HOV Ramp from I-90 (MassPike) West to the South Station Transportation Center: Early Morning Ramp Closure

The high occupancy vehicle (HOV) ramp from I-90 (MassPike) West to the South Station Transportation Center will be closed early mornings (Thursday night) Friday, October 9, 2009 from 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM.

Buses and other HOVs familiar with the area should go to Exit 25 to South Boston from I-90 (MassPike) West to Congress, D and Summer streets. If drivers miss Exit 25, they will be directed to the U-Turn at Exit 20 near Allston/Brighton and will take Exit 24-A, South Station, on I-90 (MassPike) East. This closure is to allow for allow for tunnel maintenance.

Harborside Drive to I-90 West/Ted Williams Tunnel: Nighttime Ramp Closure

The ramp from Harborside Drive to I-90 West/Ted Williams Tunnel will be closed at night Thursday, October 8, 2009 from 11:30 PM to 5 AM the following morning.

Motorists should follow signs towards the airport exit and then follow signs for I-90 West/ Ted Williams Tunnel. This closure is to allow for electrical work.

Underpass from Storrow Drive Eastbound to I-93 North and Tobin Bridge: Nighttime Ramp Closure

The underpass from Storrow Drive Eastbound to I-93 North and Tobin Bridge at night Wednesday, October 7, 2009 from 11:30 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning.

Drivers will be detoured over the Gilmore Bridge via O’Brien Highway. Once at Rutherford Avenue drivers for 93 NB will turn left to access the 93 North on ramp in Assembly Square while drivers destined for the Tobin Bridge will turn right and head south on Rutherford Avenue to the Route 1 North on ramp. This closure is to allow for maintenance.

Essex Street on-ramp to I-93 North: Nighttime Ramp Closure

The Essex Street on-ramp to I-93 North will be closed at night Thursday, October 8, 2009 from 11:30 PM to 5 AM the following morning.

Motorists should follow I-93 North signs via Essex Street and Atlantic Avenue. This closure is to allow for inspection.

I-93 South Approaching and through Downtown: Nighttime Multi-lane Closures

Two-to-three lanes of I-93 South will be closed at night approaching and through Downtown Sunday and Monday, October 4 and 5, 2009 and Wednesday and Thursday, October 7 and 8, 2009 from 11:30 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning. These lane closures are for inspections and maintenance work.

I-93 South Exit 23 to Purchase Street: Nighttime Ramp Closure

I-93 South Exit 23 to Purchase Street will be closed at night Sunday and Monday, October 4 and 5, 2009 and Wednesday and Thursday, October 7 and 8, 2009 from 11:30 PM until 5:00 AM the following morning.

Drivers should stay on I-93 South and reverse direction at Exit 18 (Mass Ave Exit). Stay in the left lane of Exit 18 and turn left onto the South Boston Bypass Road. Drivers should then turn left again onto Frontage Road northbound and follow signs for South Station. This closure is for maintenance work.

I-93 South Exit #20B to I-90 West (Masspike) and Albany Street: Nighttime Ramp Closures

I-93 South Exit #20B to I-90 West (Masspike) and Albany Street will be closed and detoured at night Wednesday, October 7, 2009 from 11:30 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning.

Motorists destined for I-90 West (Masspike) or Albany Street should follow the posted detour via Exit 20A South Station to Surface Road to the I-90 West entrance ramp at Albany Street. This closure allows for inspection.
