IMPORTANT NOTICE CONCERNING SCHOOL ON
Wednesday, October 14, 2009

Dear Parents/ Guardians,

On Wednesday, October 14, 2009, Milton High School will be administering the PSAT to all 10th and 11th graders.  While this opportunity is a great benefit for our sophomores and juniors, it creates some logistical issues.  In order to provide a quiet test-taking environment and appropriate proctoring, it is necessary to create a unique schedule for 9th and 12th graders on October 14, 2009.  Please make a note of the following:

Students in grades 10 and 11 will start school at the regular time of 7:50 a.m. and report to their grade level homeroom (This is their homeroom for activity period).  When the testing is over students will resume their normal schedule for the rest of the day.  Students must be on time for the test.  Once the test starts no one can be admitted to the testing.

Students in grades 9 and 12 will start school at 11:15 a.m. by going to their 5th period class.  If a student has first lunch then he/she will go to lunch and then go to his/her 5th period class.  There will be no block days this week.

Please remember student athletes must be in attendance for the designated amount of time to be eligible to participate in a practice or game.

Busses on this day will run on the regular schedule.  I realize that this may create a timing issue for freshmen and seniors who may take the bus.  If it is not possible to arrange alternative transportation on this day, students may spend time in the morning in the cafeteria.
