Sea Turtles Rescue at sponsored by Blue Hills Trailside Museum onSunday, March 29, 2015 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm

Wellfleet Bay is coming to Trailside! Join Bob Prescott, Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary’s Director, to discuss some of the factors that may have led to 2014’s historic level of turtle stranding. Through investigating the life cycles of these endangered species and cold-stun trends in Cape Cod Bay over the past 30 years, a story begins to emerge that reveals the intricacies of conserving these fascinating animals.   Learn about these incredible sea turtle rescues, as well as other turtle conservation projects in Massachusetts. Registration is required. Mass Audubon members $5, nonmembers $7. This program is appropriate for adults and children age 12 and up.
