Yesterday, the Boston Public Library held a ribbon cutting for the first phase of the library’s redesign. The children’s room, teen space, and nonfiction collections received a complete makeover. Milton resident Sindu Meier, who was the project manager for the architecural firm William Rawn Associates, which led the design effort, was on hand to celebrate the event. WBUR described the new space as “sleek, colorful, mod, with lots of sunlight streaming in.”
