Interested in helping remove Mile a Minute from the Paul’s Bridge section of Fowl Meadow (intersection of Brush Hill Rd. and Neponset Valley Pkwy. in Milton (you will see a small parking lot and wooden Blue Hills sign)?

DCR and volunteers have been removing Mile a Minute periodically in this section of the Blue Hills Reservation! The time has come to pull again! Please bring: Gloves, snacks/lunch, water, long sleeve shirt (I have some gloves if you don’t have a pair or don’t want to ruin your gardening gloves!).

What to expect: Great pride and joy as a result of removing this nasty and annoying invasive! What you might see: Spotted turtles, snakes, birds, cool wetland plants, crayfish & parts of Fowl Meadow you may have never seen before.
