Residential house breaks remain a concern in Metro Boston and the South Shore. Several important points to deterrence and successful arrest of potential thieves.
1. Make sure your house is locked every time you leave.
2. If applicable, set the alarm.
3. Look around, anything or anyone in the neighborhood that appears unusual.
4. “Be nosy” it pays off. Many of our best interventions and arrests come from residents who pay attention and call 911 when they see someone in the neighborhood not familiar.
5. Call MPD anytime you have a question or concern.
