Milton’s defense was tough through almost all 90 minutes.

The first half ended tied at 0-0. In the second half Milton went up 1-0 when the Natick goalie failed to gather the ball. And amid a fair amount of pandemonium in front of the net; Milton pounded it in.

It appeared Milton was about to notch it’s first victory when in the 87th minute, Natick got a breakaway and scored the equalizer. Somewhat rattled, the wheels on the Milton defense, which had been strong, began to wobble. They couldn’t settle the ball and their play was somewhat frantic. Natick pressured but the clock ran out.
