Last Thursday (11/6), Ventura and Norberto Fabian, woodcarvers in Oaxaca, Mexico, visited the Tucker School for a full day of presentations about the art and craft of Oaxacan woodcarving. They are part of the Visiting Mexican Artists Program, a cultural arts education program, that shares and celebrates aspects of Mexican folk art and culture through presentations.
Following is a slide show of the artists working with students that showcases their highly original talent and creativity. Photos by John Gillooly.
