A judge has denied public access to a restraining order against a high-ranking Milton police officer, an order that was issued to a woman who had accused him of assault.

Brockton District Court Judge Paul Dawley impounded the temporary restraining order and extended it until Oct. 21 after reviewing written motions filed by two lawyers in the case on Friday, when it was due to expire. (Read the full story here.)
