This is Henry Thomas with one of his great “freak of nature” pumpkins, grown in his garden on Randolph Avenue. Some of Mr. Thomas’ hobby efforts will be seen around town starting next week, as he’s donating some of his great, orange monstrosities to the Milton Police Department and Milton Public Library. The remainder will be shared with the Great Pumpkin Club in Warren, RI, where members vie for “biggest” (which Mr. Thomas took with his 600 lb specimen) and ugliest pumpkin. Until, then they’re on display for all to see in his front yard.
