On Sunday, September 21 St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Milton, MA welcomes The Reverend William Beers of Food for the Poor. Food for the Poor is an interdenominational Christian ministry serving the poorest of the poor in 17 countries throughout the Caribbean and Latin America. Rev. Beers has spoken on behalf of the organization for over 18 years and will share his experiences of visiting and helping those living in devastating poverty. The event is open to the public and takes place during St. Michael’s regular scheduled church service at 8 and 10 a.m. Rev. Beers will lead an open discussion forum following the 10 a.m. service. During church services, nursery care is available for infants and toddlers, and Church School is available for preschool and elementary school aged children.
