Milton interior designer Taniya Nayak feels right at home in front of the camera

Before she was Taniya Nayak, spunky, grinning designer on the HGTV series “Designed to Sell,’’ or even Taniya Nayak, designer on ABC Family’s teen decorating show “Knock First,’’ she was Taniya Nayak, Boston bartender extraordinaire. For 13 years, she shook martinis and muddled limes at dearly departed local hot spots such as Avalon and Mercury Bar.
