On Thursday, July 24 from 6 to 8pm, the Milton Public Library will host Fashion Design Classes taught by designer, Amanda Bartlett, founder of Amanda Catherine Custom Design and an art teacher in Scituate. From the Fashion Runway to the Fashion Rack: How does a fabulous dress make it from a simple pencil sketch to hitting the floors of Nordstrom???
Learn what the steps are and how to create a fashion illustration. Amanda Bartlett will be teaching teens the basics of fashion design in this two-part course. The second part is on Thursday August 21.
Open to any teens entering grades 6 to 12 in the fall. All materials will be supplied. Space is limited. Advance registration is recommended. Register at the library’s website www.miltonlibrary.org.
