The trustees of Milton Cemetery and Therese Desmond, superintendent, cordially invite the public to join then on Flag Day, June 14th for an historical walking tour at the Milton Cemetery. This tour is in response to public demand, and will begin with the raising of the flag at 10 A.M. at the front gate on Centre Street.

In addition to the graves of numerous new persons of note to be visited, the late nineteenth century Receiving Tomb will be open for those attending. Anthony Sammarco who has published over 60 books of historical note will celebrate publication of his 2013 book, “A History of Howard Johnson” by ending the tour at the restauranteur’s gravesite where ice cream will be served. Maybe 28 flavors!
