Last Saturday the weather cooperated just long enough for Mayfest 2014, an event on the grounds of the Wakefield Estate that celebrated Mother Earth and mothers everywhere. Music, art activities, art from recycled materials, educational displays, and an array of banners created from recycled bags were all part of a wonderful day.

The event was a collaboration among three local organizations: Sustainable Milton, Artspace Milton, and the Mary M.B. Wakefield Charitable Trust. The event was supported by a grant from the Milton Junior Women’s Club (Thank You!)
