Obit: Phil Mulvey, Champion of Girl’s Lacrosse

A devoted member of our milton community died too early.  Phil was devoted to girl’s sports and especially the beginning of girl’s lacrosse in Milton. Along with Lee Keller, Mr. Mulvey started the traveling girl’s lacrosse league, a league that has had a positive impact on the athletic and social development of girls in our community. MULVEY, Atty. Philip Francis III Of Milton, May 9, beloved husband of Therese (Leary) Mulvey, M.D. Devoted father of Erin A. Mulvey of Boston, Sarah E. Mulvey of VA and Hannah Mulvey of Milton. Son of Philip F. Mulvey, Jr. and Mary Louise (Hehir) Mulvey of Needham and Falmouth. Brother of Brian J. Mulvey of Norwell, Kevin H. Mulvey of Falmouth and Sean C. Mulvey of Franklin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Agatha’s Church, MILTON on Weds., May 14 at 10:30 am. Visiting Hours in the Dolan & Chapman Funeral Home, 5 Canton Ave., MILTON VILLAGE, Tues. 4- 8 pm. Interment Milton Cemetery.
