The Salute to Joe Manning scheduled for April 10th has been cancelled. Ed Duffy informed the Board of Selectmen of this at their session earlier this week. Mr. Duffy said that in lieu of the “Salute” an event will be held on the Town Green in front of Town Hall in about 6 weeks.

A special flag is being made and will be flown in his honor that day. Mr. Duffy said refunds would be mailed to those who paid by check. For those who bought tickets to the event with cash, they can receive refunds at the Town Assessors office

We hope Mr. Manning is feeling well and look forward to the event at Town Hall.
