MHS Weekly Bulletin for week of 2/10

Mon, 2/10

  • There are no meeting announcements for today.

Tue, 2/11

  • We will be running a C-Schedule this morning in order to take Club and Activity photos and the Senior class photo.  Instead of meeting in Advisory, we will meet in Period A from 7:50 – 8:30.  Clubs/Activities will be called down on the PA system.

  • There will be a preseason information meeting for all lacrosse players on Tuesday, February 11th at 2:30 in Mr. Midura’s room.  All interested students should attend.  If you are unable to attend, please see Mr. Midura.

  • There will be a Gay Straight Alliance meeting this Tuesday after school in room 211.  All are welcome!

  • There will be a Key Club meeting Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 in Room 243.

Wed, 2/12

  • The Term 2 Student of the Quarter ceremony will be taking place in the auditorium at 7:45 a.m.

  • Today is Block A.  Group Guidance 11A will meet during advisory period.

  • The Debate Team will meet Wednesday after school in Mr. Fitzgerald’s room.  New members are welcome.  Even if you are just curious, stop by.

  • This afternoon there will be a faculty meeting at 2:30 p.m.

Thu, 2/13

  • Today is Block B.  Group guidance 11B will meet during advisory period.

Fri, 2/14

  • There are no meeting announcements for today.

 

General Announcements

  • The Poetry Club will be selling valentines featuring poems by our very own club members Monday-Thursday during all three lunches.  Valentines are $1 and will be delivered to the person of your choice during J period on Friday.  Thanks for your support!

Attention: Important Yearbook Information

  • ATTENTION SENIORS: if you want to submit any candid photos for the 2014 yearbook, please join the facebook group “MHS Candids 2014”, upload all photos to that page and the yearbook staff will get your pictures in this years yearbook. (All photos will be screened by the administration!!!)

  • Pre-order your YEARBOOK and have your name engraved on the cover!  Go to www.yearbookforever.com and follow the MHS prompts.  You have until March 15th to pre-order. Don’t wait until June!

Employment Opportunities

  • Snow Removal: Winter Valley is currently looking to compile a list of students – preferably those who can start a car – who would like to help the elderly by cleaning off their cars when it snows.  Please contact Winter Valley at (617) 898-2030 and submit your name if you would to be contacted (by email or phone) when help is needed.  Students will only be needed outside of school hours.  The going rate is $10 – $15 per car, depending on how much snow and if the snow is heavy or icy.
