Collicot first grade student Malachi Buchanan is the winner of the 2013 Monster Dash Art Contest, sponsored by the Milton Foundation for Education.  Malachi’s drawing was chosen from 50 entries, and will be printed on t- shirts for the 15th annual Milton Monster Dash. To recognize Malachi’s   artistic talents, Milton Art Center donated a gift certificate for an art class! In addition, Malachi will start the 5k runners on Sunday morning, October 27th, at Cunningham Park.

The following students were selected for Honorable Mention for their entries: Demetris Antoniades (Tucker), Christopher Barrett (Glover), Caroline Gannon

(Cunningham), Kate Gannon (Cunningham), Camden Levreault (Tucker), Tyler Lum (Collicot), Sophia Manning (Tucker), Ollie McKay (Glover) and Shane Queally (Cunningham).

The Milton Monster Dash is organized by the Milton Foundation for Education, with proceeds devoted to the support of science programs for students in grades K through 5. This wonderful community event, including the 5K   walk and run and kids’ costumed fun run activities, science experiments and crafts, is held in loving memory of Sam Cichello, a Tucker school elementary student who died following a playground accident in 1999.
